Fiber International Bremen (FIB)

Faserinstitut Bremen e.V. is in the process of developing the FIB (Fiber International Bremen) as a competency network for fiber technologies. Starting point for this project is seeing fibers as a universal construction principle with numerous, innovative applications. FIB's goal is the networking of business and research via knowledge and technology transfer and the implementation of joint research projects. The development of FIB is supported by the Bremen Senate for Education and Science.

Das Faserinstitut Bremen verwaltet im Auftrag von INTERWOOLLABS (www.interwoollabs.org) die internationalen Standards zur Kalibrierung der Geräte zur Feinheitsmessung. Es handelt sich dabei um speziell ausgewählte Wollkammzüge, deren Feinheitskennwerte in wiederholten Rundtests festgestellt wurden. Diese Standards lagern in Bremen und können über INTERWOOLLABS bestellt werden.

Das Nachrichtenportal bietet eine umfassende, effiziente und gemeinsame Informationsplattform für alle Akteure im Bereich Nachwachsender Rohstoffe.
