Four international cotton round trials are organized by FIBRE every year. The purpose of the Bremen Cotton Round Trial is to harmonize the test centers and test methods.

As a result of its application worldwide, the Bremen Cotton Round Trial has become the most important international orientation benchmark for all prevalent cotton fiber tests. Its results are statistically very reliable and therefore very significant. The Round Trial is of central importance for many laboratories as it serves to check the results determined from their own laboratories.
