Forschungskuratorium Textil e.V.

FIBRE is one of 16 textile research institutes in Germany with which the FK-Textil carries out projects within the framework of joint industrial research through the Federation of Industrial Research Associations (AiF) with financial support from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi). The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is also preparing research-funding priorities for consortia of industry and research institutions. With the results of the research funding measures, the Research Board supports technology transfer to companies in the textile and clothing industry and the cooperating industrial and user sectors. The services offered by the Research Board of Trustees for research transfer include its own events, a webpage, regular electronic newsletters, publications and events at the research institutions commissioned to carry out the project.

CFK Valley Stade

FIBRE is one of more than 100 companies and research institutions that are members of the network of the CFK Valley, which cover the entire value chain as combined experts with their core competencies. This is an invaluable advantage for all members of a network against the background of market demands for shorter development times, cost reductions and shorter production times. The CFK Valley focuses on forward-looking construction methods and on the development of process chains for the automated production of fiber composite structures in aircraft and automobile construction as well as for general and textile machine construction, the initiation of national, European and international industrial and research projects and the implementation of CFRP recycling strategies. Furthermore, training and further education in the field of CFRP production and handling is an important supplement to the activities in research and development. The targeted training and further education in this area enables companies to keep their employees always up to date with the latest technology.
