Measurement Systems, Analysis and Testing Methods for Processes and Products
In the Monitoring area of expertise, measurement systems, analysis methods, and testing methods for processes and products are developed. This includes, among other things, in-depth expertise in image and 3D data analysis and computed tomography, defect detection using guided ultrasonic waves and acoustic emission, and material-integrated sensor technology. To analyze the data, the center develops its own evaluation routines, some of which are based on artificial intelligence methods. The center’s activities in the field of cryogenic materials studies are also supported by this area of expertise through corresponding measurement technologies.
