Measurement systems, analysis and test methods for processes and products

The competence field Monitoring develops measurement systems, analysis and testing methods for processes and products. This includes in-depth expertise in image and 3D data analysis and computer tomography, defect detection using guided ultrasound waves and acoustic emission and material-integrated sensor technology. In-house evaluation routines are developed to analyze the data, partly based on artificial intelligence methods. FIBRE’s activities in the field of cryogenic material studies are also supported by the competence field with corresponding measurement technologies.
